Physiotherapy for the hand, wrist and elbow
Being based in Queenstown means we see a huge variety of injury mechanisms, everything from gradual process injuries to high-velocity accidents (think: downhill mountain biking) to workplace injuries from the kitchens and construction sites.
A few of the conditions we commonly see:
- Post-operative – hand, elbow, wrist surgery
- Arthritic conditions
- Nerve injuries and compressions – e.g carpal tunnel
- Connective tissue disorders – e.g. Dupuytrens
- Tendon injuries – e.g. golfers and tennis elbow
- Acute hand and upper limb trauma – fractures, dislocations, sprains, crush or laceration injuries
- Sporting injuries – Mountain biking, skiing, snowboarding, climbing, netball etc
- Chronic hand and upper limb problems
- Pain conditions
